Any member in good
standing, i.e. dues are paid for the current
year.

I apply? |
Fill out an
application and send it
to the chairman of the scholarship
committee.

How are
applicants accepted?
|
Applicants
are selected based on a point system, i.e.
you earn points based on participation in
chapter activities.
|
Should
new members apply?
|
Absolutely!
It's easier than you think to earn the
points, and sometimes there is little
competition.
|
What
does the scholarship cover?
|
The
scholarship covers the cost of the "early
bird" registration fee and the CRNI
scholarship covers the cost of the exam.
|
How
will I know if I have been selected?
|
The
scholarship chairman will will contact you
and send the receipt of your registration
fee to the treasurer, who will issue you a
check. This will occur after the event.

How many
scholarships are awarded yearly?
|
The amount is dependent
upon the number of applicants and the
balance of the treasury at the time.
Therefore, the number of scholarships will
vary from year to year.

Can I apply more
than once?
|
Yes. However, you can only
receive a scholarship in one category every
three years.

The goal of
the chapter is to support and encourage
education amongst our membership.

| What is the
deadline for applying for any
scholarship? |
The
deadline for applying for a scholarship
is within 30 days of the event.
