Who can apply for a scholarship?

 

 Any member in good standing, i.e. dues are paid for the current year.

 
What are scholarships available for?

 

  

C.R.N.I. exam - March/September

Chapter Annual Seminar - September

National Academy of Infusion Therapy  - Fall

National Annual Convention and Exposition - Spring

 
How do I apply? Fill out an application and send it to the chairman of the scholarship committee.

 
How are applicants accepted?
 		 Applicants are selected based on a point system, i.e. you earn points based on participation in chapter activities.

 
Should new members apply?
 		 Absolutely! It's easier than you think to earn the points, and sometimes there is little competition.

 
What does the scholarship cover?
 		 The scholarship covers the cost of the "early bird" registration fee and the CRNI scholarship covers the cost of the exam.

 
How will I know if I have been selected?
 		 The scholarship chairman will will contact you and send the receipt of your registration fee to the treasurer, who will issue you a check. This will occur after the event.

 
How many scholarships are awarded yearly?
 		 The amount is dependent upon the number of applicants and the balance of the treasury at the time. Therefore, the number of scholarships will vary from year to year.

 
Can I apply more than once?
 		 Yes. However, you can only receive a scholarship in one category every three years.

 
Why does the chapter award scholarships? The goal of the chapter is to support and encourage education amongst our membership.

 
What is the deadline for applying for any scholarship?
The deadline for applying for a scholarship is within 30 days of the event.
